Description

First things up, this didn't quite turn out as I had hoped, partially because I was trying something different, and I didn't quite have it to pull it off, but it was good practice.  Plus, my shading on Electrode could be better, but that was me kind of trying to compensating for some of the quirks of the design.

However, that being said, the concept behind this I feel pretty strongly by, and this is why.  While I'm certainly not a realistic Pokemon artist, that much should be obvious, I do like interpreting them with more like in my comic-ish style, them being seen in a more real world setting.  And after having done some that I would consider more straight forward, I decided to try a more difficult one, especially as inanimate based Pokemon tend to be avoided, or drastically changed to be something completely different, which is cool and all, but I prefer to NOT completely change what the creature.  I want it to work as is.

So, my idea going with what these two are.  Pokeball like creatures.  Living Technology.  However, I had rethought how their features actually appear.  Basically, the idea is these were created when Pokeball Technology was first being invented, and thus also resemble the original ideas for Pokeballs more, where they were more proper capsules with no buttons.  Part of this is the Pokemon themselves are more a grey sphere of technology, under white and red translucent capsules pieces.  On said sphere, there is a kind of LCD Display feature that on a regular Pokeball would be intended to create a data display, giving information on the Pokemon inside, including what it is.

As such, whatever caused these to become living, sentient Pokemon, probably messing around with Pokemon Energy and things went awry, this technology still exists.  As such, this is how their features will display.  So, physically they are a perfect sphere, minus the gap between the two halves.  Underneath, however, their faces form from the LCD Display.  As such, this is why I was trying to make the eyes and mouth look to be glowing, and you can see the panels underneath the colors as well.  As such, while I suppose I could have drawn them better, and I will come back to these two in the future, much like Butterfree, I am very happy with my result and interpretation.
